CHRISTMAS MOSAIC TASTER WORKSHOP with Mosaic Artist Rachel Shilston
Try your hand at making a simple mosaic wreath that will look stunning on your tree this festive season. Not tried mosaic before? Then this is just for you!
This hour and a half introduction will give you a feel for this addictive craft and will teach you the BASICS to get you started on your mosaic journey.
Come and have a go and make a beautiful wreath in your favourite festive colours.
Rachel will be running the workshop at regular intervals each day of the Forest Markets Christmas Fair from:
10-11:30am, 12-1:30pm, 2:00-3:30pm
Taking place on the stage at Ruardean Village Memorial Hall. (Please note that access to the stage is via wooden steps to the side of the stage).
What’s included in the mosaic taster?:
All materials and tools to create a mosaic wreath (approximately 10cm in length)
Up to an hour and a half to make your creation
An information pack, comprising of details on how to grout your piece at home.
Due to small and sharp pieces, this activity is not suitable for children under the age of 8.
